Hi, I’m Maurice, a UX Designer with a unique path into the world of tech. My journey didn’t start with wireframes or user flows, it began with writing code.
I started out in web development, focused on building and deploying functional applications. Back then, success meant clean code and fast deployment. But over time, something shifted. I remember the moment it clicked: I changed the color of a button, and suddenly users were engaging differently. That single tweak sparked a deeper curiosity in me, one that wasn’t about the how, but the why behind user behavior.
As I dove deeper, I realized that while I had the technical chops to build, what truly excited me was designing experiences that felt intuitive, thoughtful, and human. My foundation in development gave me an edge in understanding how things work, but my passion for user experience is what drives me to make them work better.
